Art Center Tour ‘97

What	Free Expert-Guided Tour of the Des Moines Art Center
Who	You! Friends! Enemies! Distant Acquaintences!
Where	Des Moines Art Center, 4700 Grand Ave. Des Moines (42nd street exit, south to Grand, west to Art Center - a huge white building, simple to find)
When	Thursday, October 9th, 1997 at 7:00 pm (tour lasts 1 hour, then the Art Center is open until 9 pm).
Why	Appreciate Art! (get to say things like, “Egads that’s Ugly!” and be an actual art ‘critic’. You can add it to your resume, but please keep your day job.)

Note: The ‘ART CENTER’ has no association with people named ‘ART’ and strongly discourages people making lame jokes about that fact!

The ‘Fabulous’, the ‘Wonderous’, the ‘At Least Moderately Interesting’ Des Moines Jaycees are sponsoring this event. You, Too, can be in the “IN-CROWD”, the Jet-Set, the Way-Cool kinda people that do “artsy” stuff and pretends to be cultured on this otherwise most ordinary of evenings. Please note: The Des Moines Jaycees have no official position on what constitutes ‘art’. If you want to call the water fountain ‘art’, you’re welcome to.

Afraid of Art? Exits are available - in case of emergency depressurization of the art center a mask will drop... somewhere. But at least you can leave easily in case of severe boredom. Or belch really loudly. It’s your choice! Do The Tour!
